A different self-portrait

So I have not posted on my blog for a while, I have been really busy with another business venture. I launched a new website to showcase my commercial work towards the end of last year.

My new business has been developing very quickly through word of mouth and also recommendations. We have been working on large scale advertising campaigns in conjunction with agencies and also smaller projects for companies.

And also on the JMFOTO site we have just shot our first big Spanish wedding, which was lots of fun. I will be posting the new images on the site very soon so keep checking back.

I thought I would post a recent self portrait, something a bit different and more from an arty style using techniques from the film days.

Self-Portrait (portraits)

Its not very often I get infront of the camera, so I decided to do a self portrait. I used my old Bronica film camera which was focused on the seat, I then positioned my camera on a tripod and attached a 100mm macro lens. I focused on the screen of the Bronica with my digital camera and macro lens set-up, switched the auto timer on and ran to the seat to make the image.
